Just what you need to make your mincepies special this year!
Delicious home-made mincemeat using the same recipe that my Mum used in my childhood ( and at 84 she still makes a jar or two every year!)

Ingredients: suet, mix fruit, cherries, apple, brown sugar, mix peel, lemons, spices, sherry

This hexagonal jar holds approx 10 1/2 oz (300 gm) of mincemeat.


Not just for mincepies at Christmas, mincemeat can be used in recipes throughout the year. Put a spoonfull in the centre of a baked apple, or on top of a pork chop before baking in the oven, or mix with breadcrumbs to make a quick and tasy stuffing.

Every Christmas tea-table needs a Christmas cake!

Here you have my popular Rich Fruit Cake, covered in home-made marzipan, and then topped with either Royal icing or sugarpaste icing.

This is a 4" (10 cm) round which gives 4 good sized slices, perfect for someone on their own or to give as a gift to your boss, child's teacher etc.

Design may vary from that pictured, but will be Christmassy.

Please specify when ordering whether you want the royal iced (spiky) or sugarpaste (flat) finish. I will do my best to accommodate any requests for particular decorations - but as cakes sell the choice will become more limited! If no preference is given on ordering you will receive a cake of my choice.
